We are pleased to announce a new beat on the river Test situated downstream of Wherwell Priory and upstream of Fullerton.
This delightful stretch of water is guaranteed to become very popular with fishermen and it is situated within the grounds of a charming period property.
The beat is approximately 800 yards and available for two fishermen to enjoy its charms. The water has deep sections holding good sized browns and some lovely riffled water as you head towards the top end of the beat. The top section allows wading also so you are able to cover more fish hiding in the edges and the water is crystal clear with weed beds but also some fabulous gravel sections.
There is a fisherman’s hut with table and chairs and even a sofa overlooking the river and the beat is secluded and private. It has everything that a good day on the River Test should provide.

- Well stocked with decent sized browns and plenty of wild browns and grayling
